Class of 1981
It was really quite incredible, on the 25/6/2005, the 13a got together for their first (proper) class reunion (there was one before very shortly after the Abitur, but hardly anyone attended, we were probably glad not to have to see each other again....).
If you like to see/read more (in German), have a look
here.
This blog is in creation, so bare with me.... more pictures will be added and also hopefully my old classmates write a few bits....

Your class reunion looked like fun... I wonder if mine from school ever will a) take place & b) be as successful as yours obviously was!
- being somewhat a difficult/nerdy teenager in those days, I only kept in touch with carefully chosen people, and even so, things have not always been easy, as along with the nice memories, come along the invariable comments whenever we meet eg:
- "L, you look so much more serene now"
or, as an alternative:
- "I never understood why you were so depressed all the time - you had a great life!"
My answers to such statements usually involve swearing (in French)(under my breath), and adding 'You sad moron! Of course I was unhappy - I was a teenager for Christ's sake!!! Sulking, being depressed and unpleasant goes with the territory, as well as feeling fat and being spotty...: that's what teenagers do!! Grrrr'
Hum, don't think I am quite ready for that school reunion after all!!
(but still glad you had a good time!!!)

Oh how I laughed ! ... Well, you have some years to go till it's 24 I suppose and so have some time to muster the courage !!! I tell you the minutes before I met everybody were very nerve wrecking !!!
Wassup then, are you comeing with me to the concert on the 6th, I got a spare ticket ?!?!?
yup yup... Iwanttogoreallyreally!!!
By the way - Sorry about delay in replying - was at Petite France Hôpital for my weekly treat of the art of physio as provided by the lovely Anna. (actually was quite happy about it for once, as she unblocked my shoulder... Unlucky for some: I can now extend both my arms above my head)
Happy Days...
"Unlucky for some: I can now extend both my arms above my head" - Would it not be rather unlucky for some if you'd extend one of your arms with force (and possibly a fist) forward ?!
Anyway, glad you're better...! xx
You obviously know me faaar too well.........
